From 10 AM to 12 PM, our expert photographers, including Mynxii White, Travis Keyes, Mark Mann, Dario Acosta, Alice O'Malley, and Ethan Hill, will guide you through lighting techniques for portraiture, still life, and location shoots. Whether you’re new to lighting or a seasoned pro, you’ll discover how to illuminate your subject, create ambience, and enhance your images with Harlowe’s professional lighting solutions.
Then, from 3 PM to 4:30 PM, join us for an open studio session where you can apply what you've learned and get creative with your lighting setups.
This workshop is completely free, but registration is required to secure your spot!

As a brand ambassador for Leica and Harlowe Lighting, Mynxii’s creative vision has been recognized for its ability to capture emotion, movement, and intimacy in strikingly timeless ways.
From film sets to nightclubs, Travis W Keyes has always had a knack for capturing dynamic moments. Today, he's an NYC-based photographer specializing in cinematic portraits, corporate branding, and influencer/celebrity headshots. As a member of Adobe's Lightroom Advisory Board, President of American Photographic Artists National, and a Sony Alpha Camera advocate, his work speaks for itself.
Dario Acosta, a Cuban-born photographer raised in Washington Heights, specializes in capturing international musicians, artists, and actors for editorial, music and entertainment companies and advertising clients. Dario’s portraits connect deeply with subjects, creating timeless tributes to artistry.
Alice O'Malley is a New York photographer whose portraits comprise an archive of downtown's most notorious artists, performers, and muses. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in the US and Europe, including PS1/MOMA, International Center of Photography, and Participant.
Ethan Hill is an award winning environmental portrait photographer who has had a +20 year career working in the magazine business. A partial client list includes Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, WIRED, OUT, and the New York Times. Aside from his commercial pursuits Ethan has consistently maintained a personal art practice chronicling the lives of gay men, and has work included in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London.
